Mark your calendars: Diwali, the Festival of Lights, falls on Sunday, November 8 this year, with the full five day celebration running November 6 through 10. It's one of the most beautiful times of year to henna, and we've got something special in the works to help you celebrate.

What makes Diwali such a henna occasion?

Diwali is a festival built around light, renewal, and gathering with the people you love. Henna has long been part of that celebration, applied on hands and feet as a symbol of joy and good fortune in the days leading up to the festivities. Homes are decorated, lamps are lit, and for a lot of families, getting hennaed is simply part of getting ready.

A new henna eBook is on the way

In late October, we're releasing a Diwali inspired henna eBook packed with designs made for the season. Expect patterns that lean into the festival's spirit: designs filled with lanterns, peacocks, moons, candles, and florals that celebrate the season of light.

It will also include a single page of mini-designs that can be done in under 4 minutes each for those parties where you need to get through many many hands!
