How do I get my eBooks?

These are the three easy ways to access your eBooks:

  1. During Checkout
    There will be a download button on the Order Confirmation/Thank You page during checkout.

  2. Via eMail
    You will receive an email with a download button. Save this email for future reference.

  3. In Your Account
    All eBooks are available in your Beachcombers account.

    • Go to your account and click on the order that contains the eBook(s) you ordered.
    • Click on the "Order Status Button".
    • Click on the purple "Downloads" button.
    • Click the download icon beside the eBook you want to download.
    • Save the eBook to your computer.

If in doubt, email us and we'll be happy to send you the download link!

I'm having trouble with my henna. What do I do?

My order never arrived. What do I do?

Don't worry; lost packages are VERY rare!

Follow these steps:

  1. Check around your property, including back and side doors, mailboxes, and porches. The carrier may have hidden it for security.
  2. Consult with all individuals at the delivery address—family members, roommates, friends, guests, or visitors. Often, the package is set aside and forgotten.
  3. For apartments, businesses, college dorms, etc., inquire with office personnel, covering different workdays if needed.
  4. Occasionally a package is scanned as delivered before it's actually dropped off. You will normally receive the package the next day.
  5. Ask your carrier; they often remember where they left packages.
  6. If your carrier doesn't recall, contact your LOCAL post office with the tracking number for precise information. If you contact us, we see the same information that you see. Your local post office may have additional information.
  7. Check with neighbors; carriers may leave packages with them.
  8. If a signature is required, and no one was available, the carrier should leave a notice; check with your local post office. We add signature to large orders and orders with address issues.
  9. For certain rural addresses, carriers may hold packages at the nearest post office for pick-up.
  10. International shipments may have customs duties, taxes, or require a signature. Contact local customs and/or post office for details.

What crop year is your henna?

I'm new to henna. Which henna kit should I buy?

Welcome to henna! The kit you buy depends on your goals as a henna artist. Is this to try out a couple of times and be finished with it? Is this an ongoing hobby? Are you looking to go pro someday?

I'm doing henna a couple of times for fun, but not looking to make it an ongoing thing.
Great! I suggest the Fun & Easy kit. You can always add a few extra cones if you want more henna.

I really like henna and think I want to make it an ongoing hobby.
Ahhhh! My people! I suggest learning to mix your own henna if this will be an ongoing hobby. Try the Essential Henna Kit or the Big Bad Henna Kit, depending on which better fits your budget. The Big Bad kit has both henna powder for mixing and ready-made paste to use right away.

I'm looking to possibly go pro.

Shipping and Delivery Questions

How do I track my order?

There are multiple ways to track your order.

  1. Click on the link in the shipping confirmation email we sent.
  2. Go to your Beachcombers account by clicking the account icon on the top right of your screen and click on the "Track Order" button for the order you wish to track.
  3. Copy the tracking number from the email and paste it into the chat box at the bottom right of the website.

When do you ship?

Fast!

  • We ship orders Monday-Friday (except on holidays).
  • Orders ship within one business day.
  • Orders received before 10:00am EST time will ship the same day.

For example, an order placed at 2:00pm EST on Friday will ship on Monday.
An order placed at 9:30am EST on Tuesday will ship out the same day.

If the USPS is closed, so are we.

How long will shipping take?

You get to choose how fast you get your order!

  • Economy: 2-8 days
  • Priority: 2-4 days
  • Express: 1-2 days
  • Fed-Ex Express: 1 day

Orders ship within one business day Monday-Friday (excluding postal holidays).

Woo hoo, free shipping! How do I get it?

We are glad you asked! We offer free standard ground shipping for qualifying orders:

  • USA Orders Over $100
  • Florida Orders Over $60
  • USA Military AA, AE, APO, and FPO Addresses

To be eligible for free shipping, the order subtotal must meet the specified minimums before shipping and after discounts.

This means 99.99 doesn't qualify, BUT I have a tip for you! If you are close to the free shipping mark but not quite there, eBooks will qualify you for free shipping and we have eBooks starting at only .99.

Refunds for orders that originally qualified for free shipping will be adjusted for actual shipping costs if the order no longer meets the minimum requirements.

We are sorry that we cannot offer free shipping for any international orders.

How much does shipping cost?

Good news! Shipping is free for USA orders over $100 and Florida orders over $60.

All other orders are charged by weight and delivery address.

You will see all shipping options available to your address BEFORE submitting your payment information.

How do I pickup my order from the Orland studio?

For convenient and contact-free order pickups in Orlando, we've got you covered! Choose between two simple methods:

1. Online Orders

  • Shop our online store and add all products to your shopping cart, as normal.
  • Select the "Orlando Pickup" button on the checkout page.
  • Choose the date and time for your pickup.
    Our online scheduler displays the next available processing time.
    For weekend or evening pickups, select the last available time slot. Your order will be ready for pickup anytime after that, even on weekends or evenings.
  • Click "Checkout" and checkout as normal.
    An email will be sent to you with your lockbox code when your order is ready.
  • Collect your order from our outdoor lockbox situated at the back/side double doors next to the parking lot. 


2. Phone Orders

  • Call us at 407-236-7878 to place your order, ask questions, make payments, and schedule pickup.
  • If we're unavailable when you call, leave your name and number, and we'll promptly return your call the next business day.
  • We accept the following payment methods for phone orders:
    - Credit Cards
    - PayPal (@beachjody)
    - CashApp ($beachjody)
    - Venmo (@beachjody)
  • Retrieve your order from our outdoor lockbox using the personal code provided via email.

Do you ship to APO/FPO addresses and PO Boxes?

Yes! We ship via USPS so we can ship to PO Boxes, AA, AE, APO, and FPO addresses.

We ship to AA, AE, APO, and FPO addresses for FREE! Thanks for your service.

Keep in mind, AA, AE, APO, and FPO sometimes take longer for delivery.

Do you ship to my country?

Maybe! Simply add something to your cart and click on the "Check your cart's shipping cost" link. Choose your country and postal code to see your shipping options.

Don't see your country? Try Parcel Forwarding:
If your country is not available in the drop-down menu, consider using a Parcel Forwarding Company for shipment. Parcel Forwarding Companies provide a local USA address for us to ship to, forwarding the package to your international location. Even if we do ship to your country, you can still use these services since they are often cheaper.

How Parcel Forwarding Works:

  • They offer a local USA address which is where we ship your item. This address WILL qualify for our domestic free shipping specials.
  • From that address, they arrange package forwarding to your address.
  • To learn more about these services, use Google to find companies serving your area.
  • We do not endorse or have information about specific Parcel Forwarding companies.

Will I owe fees or taxes for my international order?

Maybe. We only charge for the shipping cost of your order. 

We cannot predict, prepay, or collect charges for VAT, customs fees, duties, or any other government-imposed costs on your shipment.

Recipients are responsible for any duties and taxes on international shipments. Each country has its own customs and duties regulations. If fees are unpaid, a notice may be left, and the package held until payment or a release signature is obtained. For details, contact your local customs authority or post office.

If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, non-pickup, or fee non-payment, you will be refunded the order cost MINUS shipping fees.

Where will my order ship from?

ALL orders and ALL products ship from our henna studio located in Orlando, Florida.

What shipping company do you use?

Nearly all of our orders ship via the United States Post Office (USPS). Occasionally we will ship an order via FedEx (or occasionally DHL for international orders).

You will get tracking information via email for your order.

Order Questions

Can I add to, change, or cancel my order?

Maybe. We ship within one business day and 20% of our orders ship on the same day they were ordered.

If we haven't shipped your order yet, YES, we are happy to make changes!

Your best bet is to BOTH email and text us at 407-634-6181 as soon as possible. You can also give us a call at 407-236-7878. Leave a message if you don't get us.

How do I use a coupon or promo code?

Type your promo code or coupon into the Promo Code box at checkout and click "Apply".

If you have more than one code, you'll need to add them individually on the CHECKOUT page rather than in the cart.

How do I use a gift card?

During checkout, simply enter the unique gift card code in the Gift Card field. Codes are not case sensitive.

Gift card balances are applied to the total value of an order, which can include taxes and shipping.

The balance on a gift card can be spent on more than one order, and are always accessible through your customer account or typing in the code directly.

Do I have to pay sale tax?

Any order shipped within the state of Florida will incur a 6.5% sale tax unless a valid Florida resale or tax exempt certificate is provided.

If you have a tax exempt certificate, if must be emailed to us.

What is your return/exchange policy?

We happily accept returns and exchanges for new unused items up to 30 days from the original delivery date.

  • 30 Day Returns & Exchanges
    Orders placed after November 1 have an extended return/exchange date of January 31.
  • Exchanges ship back to you at no additional cost (USA).

For exchanges and returns, we require a notarized signature, blood sample, and... just kidding!

Returns and exchanges are easy! Items must be in new re-sellable condition with all original retail packaging.

How To Submit a Return Request

  1. Click here: Request Return/Exchange
  2. Click the order that you want to submit the return for.
    If your order has more than one item, then select the items that you want to return.
  3. Select a return reason and add a note for the store.
  4. Click "Submit request".

    If your return request is approved and requires shipping, then you receive an email with shipping instructions. After the product is returned, you receive a refund or your exchange will be shipped.

    If the return was not approved in advance or is not in the original condition with all retail packaging, a 15% restocking fee will be charged.


    Refunds/Exchanges for Specials and Free Shipping Orders

    The original terms must be met for all specials, sales, discounts, free shipping, and price breaks, or the refund will reflect the new pricing. For example, if free shipping was used, the order must still meet the free shipping terms, or the original shipping charges will be deducted from the return amount.

    Items returned that qualified for free shipping, will be refunded less the actual amount of the original shipping charge.

    Return/Exchange Details

    • Item(s) must be in new unused condition.
    • For exchanges, we will ship your exchange back to you at no additional charge to USA addresses (shipping is not covered for international exchanges).
    • Clearance items are a great deal and, as such, are exchange only. We do not cover any shipping for clearance exchanges.
    • Refunds will be given in form of original payment for purchase price only (shipping not refunded).
    • Any items not returned as part of kits or packages will be considered a retail purchase and will be deducted from the original amount of your order.
    • We do not offer refunds/exchanges on items returned after the 30-day refund window.
    • The return policy does not apply to bulk and special orders.
    • eBooks are non-refundable as there is no way to physically return the product.

    Sometimes there are special circumstances. Let us know! Remember, we are human and have feelings too. Sugar will get you further than vinegar, and flattery will get you everywhere!

    Sometimes we make mistakes (how embarrassing!). If you find a mistake, please contact us so that we can correct it as soon as possible.

      I can't remember my password. What do I do?

      Click the "Forgot your password?" link. We'll ask for your email address and send you an email to reset your password.

      How do I edit my address or other information?

      Click on the account icon on the top right of the website. Open the "Profile & Addresses" tab and make any changes you'd like.

      While there, you can add your birthday and a profile picture if you want! We love seeing our customers' faces!

      Do I have to have an account to purchase?

      Great news! You don't need an account to make a purchase - guest checkout is always available.

      However, creating an account is quick and comes with some awesome perks: easy reorders, hassle-free returns and exchanges, access to your order history, and seamless eBook downloads. It's a great way to enhance your shopping experience!

      How do I create an account?

      You'll be asked to create an account when you checkout.

      If you want to create an account without buying something, just click the account icon in the top right corner of the website and follow the prompts.

      Which henna is better? ORa or Jamila henna?

      That's a personal preference, but I use ORa henna on my clients and myself.

      ORa henna leaves beautiful dark color, is a super stable henna, sticks well to the skin, and has a gorgeous stringy texture that allows me to work faster and get cleaner lines. ORa leaves great color on the hair and it's easier to rinse the paste out of the hair.

      Jamila is the oldest, most well-known professional henna brand. I used Jamila back when we didn't have many professional-grade choices. It's still a solid henna choice with a creamy texture. To get cleaner lines, adding sugar is a great help or mixing some ORa henna into it.

      You can always try both to see what works for you, but if you are new to henna, I suggest sticking with ORa henna.

      Is your henna safe?

      I'm glad you asked! YES! Our henna is safe. We source our henna directly from growers that provide us with high quality, pure, unadulterated henna product. Since we don't use distributors, we can be sure that we are getting consistent high quality henna.

      If you are ordering henna paste, our paste is surprisingly resilient. We add sorbic acid to our henna paste which keeps it fresh and staining beautifully.

      USA orders will have no problem! Most international orders are fine too, but international orders do run a risk of delays causing lighter stains. If your packages from the USA tend to be delayed, you should either upgrade shipping or order powder to mix your own paste.

      Do you have a retail store? Can I come see you?

      Maybe! We no longer have a retail store, but we do have a henna studio at our office where we offer order pickup and henna done by Jody.

      How long have you been doing henna?

      I (Jody) was introduced to henna back in 1999 and have never stopped. The obsession is REAL, my friend!

      Asad and I started Beachcombers a couple of years later in 2002 and went full time in 2004. What's funny is this is longer than many of our clients have been alive!
